Cactus and Pot
thingiverse
I'm thrilled to share my first venture into 3D modeling - creating a cactus that exceeded expectations! A friend's request sparked my creativity, and I decided to push boundaries by making it more than just a decorative piece. I envisioned a stash spot where you could store treasures, with the cactus securely glued to the plate but freely detachable from the pot. This way, you can lift up the pot and keep secrets inside! To achieve this, I made the interior hollow, ensuring sturdy sides that are 5mm thick, complete with a convenient ledge for the plate to rest on. While my tolerances might not be perfect, I'm confident the fit will be snug without any issues. If you have suggestions or ideas, please don't hesitate to share them! The pot itself can serve as a home for an actual plant, but keep in mind that it doesn't have drainage holes - perhaps drilling one would be a good idea.
