Calabash is one of the first cultivated plants in the world, grown not primarily for food, but for use as a water container. It was widely used from Asia to Africa, yet with the advance in technology, people seems to forget the usefulness of calabash and begin to use disposable plastic bottles instead. The bottle is made of two parts, the cap made of plastic and the one-layer-thick stainless steel body. The two parts are fit tightly by the screw patterns. Using the calabash as the outlook of container can provide user a unique experience of bottle usage and deeper understanding on human's impact on nature.
