Caliper holster

Now that my shop is a couple kilometers away, I started keeping an old pair of calipers in my home office for design purposes. But where to put them? A custom little holster, of course! It's designed to mount to 39mm AnthroCart desk tubing. (This desk is 25 years old, so I have no idea if that is still current.) You get about 20 degrees of adjustability, and the design assumes it is mounted on the rightmost post (with the threaded holes pointed inward). Leftmost would work if you reversed the mounting strip. A center post (with the threaded holes in the back, not on the side) would require the strip to be greatly extended, though. I've only tried it with my 150mm Mitutoyo Absolute Digimatics. I think it would work for most in that size, but no promises.
