Call Center Headset adapter - use the same headset for your PC and desk phone

This is an enclosure that (with additional parts) will allow you to use your RJ9 phone headset with your PC and desk phone. No need to flip switches or unplug/plug in wires - this connects the headset to both devices at the same time. A bit of a backstory for those who care to read it. I work part-time for an ISP that also provides HPBX (we host the customers' phone systems) and our own brand of phones called Teo. That's why you see the Teo logo on the lid and the Westelcom logo on the bottom of the enclosure. Internally, we use Microsoft Teams quite a bit for everything from one-on-one communication to regular meetings with the whole team, so I had two headsets - one for my Teo Fir desk phone, and one for my computer. I prefer the Plantronics headset which is only compatible with the phone because of its RJ9 connector, so I was looking for a solution to use it with my computer and my phone. After heading to Amazon and ordering some parts, I got to work designing an enclosure. I try to keep my desk space as neat as possible and didn't want more cables and adapters laying around. This design is what I came up with. I have tested the fit of everything but have yet to bring it into the office and actually plug it in and use it. I look forward to the ability to have one headset that does everything, plus I'll be able to listen to computer audio and a phone call simultaneously.
