Kustom Tuck & Roll Amp Cabinet Handle

Kustom Tuck & Roll Amp Cabinet Handle

I just got a sweet 1970s Kustom K200 amp and 2x15" speaker cabinet, but the old plastic handles cracked where they were attached to the metal ring. I made this replacement which is not 100% the same shape but pretty close! I printed this vertically with supports, then removed the supports, lined this up with the metal handle ring, drilled holes for the two little nails that hold the handle on (you can use screws if you lost the nails), and the used pliers to squeeze the nails into the holes. It worked great! I printed this with 100% infill but at low resolution so that the lines mimic the ribbed shape of the tuck & roll upholstery on the amp. Please feel free to remix if you're able to get it even more correct.
