UPDATED Ok, so i got to print it and make some measurements, made a new model and am printing it now. I expect this one will be good enough to use.This was made for my camera, but i made the slot so it can be used on many different types of DSLRs. Please let me know if i can make improvements for you. I got tired of my camera killing batteries at the wrong time. It has provisions to allow an external power source to be used with battery adapters. So, I decided to make a grip for it that will hold an Inland 5200mAh battery pack that Microcenter sells for $9. This will Greatly extend the battery life, make battery swaps much faster, and use cheap but powerful LiPos made by LG, no more alkaline or unreliable NiMHs.
