This is my design of a mount accessory for attaching a GoPro camera to the print bed of my Anycubic Mega X. Since this printer has an i3 design, the bed moves, making it harder to get a decent time-lapse without Octoprint an a dedicated webcam. So I designed this mounting assembly. It allows to mount either the GoPro itself with the snap-clip that comes in the retail box, or to fix the GoPro shorty tripod on the cylinder clamp. A brass thread insert was used on the 3.2 mm holes on the bottom. This allows for an M3 bolt to push the 12 mm round inserts against the print bed, fixing the whole assembly to it without damage to the underside of the aluminum sheet. Knobs for these bolts are also included, but can be tightened with a hex wrench. This will not fit the Mega S without adjustment to the print bed slot height and clearances. I included the SolidWorks 2019 part files to make it easier to edit, if needed. These parts were all printed with no supports on the Anycubic Mega S and a 0.6 mm nozzle, allowing for much stronger infill and shorter print times. Material is ttyt3D Silk Blue PLA, which prints hotter than usual PLA, at 215 C.
