Camera mount for Logitech C270 webcam

This camera mount is designed for a Logitech C270 webcam, though it can probably be made to work with others. It works by clamping the webcam in place using a 6-32 screw and a captive nut. The mount provides three degrees of freedom: it slides forward and aft on the printer frame, it can rotate left/right about one of the attachment points, and then the camera itself tilts up and down. Note the version shown in the pictures has my son's initials printed on the mount; we suppressed that feature for sharing. One thing we discovered is that the Logitech C270 focus distance is factory-set to be a bit longer than we wanted, so the back of the print bed was in focus, but the middle and front were not. We found a helpful video showing how to crack the webcam apart and adjust the focus so the printed object is sharp: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61D186Ver3Q Note this design just fits on a 20x20 cm bed. It's intended to be printed on its side, and you'll need to rotate it slightly about the Z axis to get it to fit on your bed. Good luck! Print Settings Printer: RepRap Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 30% Notes: In case it's not obvious, this part should be printed on its side such that the clamp faces up. Once rotated onto its side, you'll need to rotate about Z to get it to fit on a 20x20 cm print bed. We used a small brim to improve first layer adhesion.
