It is quite strong not easy to detach. 1/4-20 camera mount screw is needed to attach camera to this mount. Base contains two holes for 3mm brass inserts. Holes are spaced 10 mm. This allows creating adapters for mounting additional stuff, like microphone stand, light mount or else.
