Camera slider with stepper motor Edit: Fixed a mistake made on the sledge Edit 2: Centered the hole in the sledge. Added 7mm to the feet. Instructions For 8mm rods and LM8UU Print the brackets and two sledges Fettle or drill the 8mm holes. The LM8UU linear bearings is really tight, I did put the sledge (not the whole thing) in boiling water for 10-15 sec and then pressed the bearings into place. Connect the two sledges with two M3 screws Drill a hole for in the center of the sledge and attach a tripod head Optional: add a stepper motor to the motor bracket, a bearing to the other bracket and a belt to automate the slider...
