I got invited to go on a photowalk in a physics lab (snolab in sudbury, ontario). The main challenge is that it s a full cleanroom facility. No camera bags allowed, just 1 camera, 2 lenses and a strap and whatever I can carry. I wanted to bring my canon 70-200 with a fuji adapter, as well as my fujinon 18mm f2. Came up with an idea, use the rstrap to clip to the canon lens/adapter combo, and made this to attach to the r-strap near the shoulder so I can attach the 18mm f2 when I'm not using it on the camera. I added a second rstrap hook for the xt-1 body so I can free up my hands if needed. It holds really good to the strap, and seems to hold the lens quite well. I'm sure repeated uses will make the fit loose rather quickly, but it does the trick, and should last the the 8 hours I need it to at least.. I definitely do not recommend using this for anything bigger than a pancake style lens, and I plan to be super cautious while the lens is attached to it.
