UPDATE: STL-File fixed! This tripod screw is enforced with an 3mm (M3) countersink screw. It is stable enough to hold bigger DSLR firmly in place. It has no problems with my quite heavy Sony A850 full frame DSLR. It feels just like an all metal screw. Despite it is quite robust I have to say that it is less reliable then an all metal screw. So use it with care. Don't stress the screw with higher g-force or heavy lenses. YOU ARE USING IT ON YOUR OWN RISK! It has an 1/4" - 20 UNC thread. The angle of the windings is slightly adapted to for some curling. The knob is 5mm high. The shaft is 4mm long and the thread is 7.5mm long. You can cut the thread to size with an utility knife. Print Settings Printer: Sintron Prusa i3 Notes: Use minimum layer height. Do your best to achieve maximum layer adhesion: high print temperature, a closed print chamber and strong plastic. Vapor smoothing might be a good idea to maximize layer adhesion. I only had ABS to hand and the above mentioned printer without a heated chamber. The results was satisfying, but better will be better ;-) Post-Printing If you have, run an tap half way throu. If not run the M3 countersink screw directly in. Find the apropriet length for camera and cut the screw to size with an utility knife. Then cut the screw to size an drive it in.
