Camera tripod to PVC 1/2" pipe bracket

<p>This is a bracket to join a piece of 1/2" PVC to a camera tripod. Camera tripods typical use 1/4"-20 bolts and the center vertical hole is sized to fit a coupler I found at my local hardware store for $1. Using a washer on the 1" bolt causes the entire assembly to be under compression to help resist the torque of whatever you attach to the bracket. <em>Note: Print orientation matters here! See notes.</em></p> <p>To assemble:</p> <ol> <li>Place 1/2" PVC pipe section inside bracket. Depending on your print settings, this may be a very tight fit. That's good, but may result in having to use some percussive encouragement to get the pipe centered in the bracket.</li> <li>Use bracket's coupler hole as a jig to drill out a 1/2" hole in the PVC</li> <li>Screw a 1/4"-20 bolt into one end of the bolt coupler with a large washer under it.</li> <li>Insert coupler into vertical hole and through PVC<ul> <li>If your print has any slop in it, insert short screws into the two screw holes on the side.
