Campagnolo Freehub Bearing Press

Campagnolo Freehub Bearing Press

thingiverse

Made to press in the outer bearing (6803) of almost any Campagnolo freehub design. This bearing is prone to getting loose/shot, especially if you live in a wet climate, as there is no outer seal. Replacing it is not difficult, as one can carefully hammer out this bearing using a flatblade screwdriver, and hammer a new one back in, using a 2 Euro coin. However, if you want to be a bit more sophisticated about things, you can use a bearing press. This particular design helps because it centers the sleeve between the outer and inner bearing of the freehub when pressing the bearing in. Combine with a piece of M10 / M8 threaded rod, and some nuts. The recession on the bottom of the design holds a washer with an outer diameter of 20mm.
