Camping Gas Bottle Leg / Support

Camping Gas Bottle Leg / Support

This is my take on the various camping gas canister legs that are available on the market. They typically all require the bottles to be of a specific size and have a specific type of lip on the base in order to hold them rigidly. But in my camping box I have 3 different screw-type canisters which all have different dimensions. And the Coleman Extreme one I have does not have a protruding lip. Hence my desire for something universal. I printed 4 of these and used elastic to hold them onto the bottle. If you have a smaller bottle, simply tie an additional knot in the elastic or move the main knot to wherever suits you. There is a cut-out at the bottom of the vertical walls to accommodate canisters with lips up to 2.5mm thick (mine are 2mm so there is some leeway). Printing: I printed with 2 vertical shells, 2 bottom and 3 top horizontal shells. I used 25% infill though you could reduce/increase this if you wanted. I had additional cooling of the filament by means of the 'Fang' cooler and this enabled printing using PLA+ at 215 degrees without any support material. The item was designed to not require support material.
