Replacement Knob for the camping/BBQ stove, the metal retaining clip is needed to keep the Knob securely attached. When attaching the metal clip it is a very tight fit, it was designed like that so it would be very secure - so some gentle taps with a hammer might be needed. ***Update*** Camping Knob Type 2; Has been designed so that if the metal retaining clip is not there it can still be attached by heating up the valve shaft with a lighter and press fitting the knob onto the shaft, making a tight and secure fixing. A drop of super glue at the bottom of the Knobs hole just before press fitting will secure the fitting even more. :D - Happy Camping
