For years I've been optimizing the camping burner situation, what works really well for us is two burners on a plank of wood (actually it's a bit of kitchen cupboard door). I finally got around to making something to print to fix the bottoms better. The principle that has worked well for me for years (while using this type of burner) is to fix the sideways movement of the tank, which doesn't touch the plank at all. This thing fits perfectly around the base of the tank. It is fixed in place by the pins in the plank where I drilled some holes (tricky to get perfect). The idea to use pins instead of screws is that it can easily be packed flat and these holders will probably fit in the burner cases while travelling. In a pinch you can replace the pins with some other small rod like objects (fallen branches are everywhere) The plank can be levelled using the screws in the four corners, which are in screwable nuts. 40mm m6 is just a bit on the short side, use 60 or more mm, to be on the safe side. And of course you need to bring a level (or a smartphone). See also replacement foot for campingaz bivouac leg : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4949992
