In accordance with new Transport Canada Federal guidelines all Remote Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) must be registered to a certified pilot if over 250g in weight. Registration is quick and easy, as is the certification exam. This Customizable Thing will generate a number plate which can be affixed to your registered RC aircraft. It was designed for use with a DJI F450 clone's rear accessory mount, as I never run anything except the front gimbal. It could be modified through the customizer to allow for any spacing of M3 mounting bolts to accommodate mount points on your aircraft. Please note, I am not going to debate the silliness or feasibility of the new regulations, but hopefully this will help out those fellow Canadians who are willing to take the $15 and 45 minutes it takes to do the test, get certified, and register your device.
