The Canadian 'Otter' Light Reconnaissance Car (LRC) was a GM-built variant of a British scout car (Humber LRC Mk.III) mated to a CMP 4x4 truck chassis. It served with Canadian units in Italy and the Western Front theatre of operations in Europe. Otters were heavier and bulkier than their Humber cousins, but were also equipped with a larger engine to compensate, with a top speed of 45mph. They were armed with a hull-mounted Boys anti-tank rifle, and a Bren LMG in an open-topped, one-man turret. Total overseas deliveries of the Otter reached some 880 units. They were generally disliked by the soldiers who were assigned them, once even being described as, 'arguably the worst military vehicle ever produced in Canada.' Nevertheless, they continued in service after the war, and well into the 1950s. This model is a 1:100 scale rework of m_bergman's 1:200 scale Otter, with extra details from TigerAce1945's Stowage Project and wheels from Kpi1986's Chevy C8-A Canadian quad. Test printed on an Ender 3 Pro.
