This was make from wikipedia canadian flag. Using OpenScad. I included the OpenScad file. (as I really like it when other people also do that). it is not that customizable but you can edit the OpenScad file if you want. The code is messy but here are the thoughts/plan behind the flag construction 1) Make top triangle (equilateral triangle) 2) make side spikes (triangles as well (mirrored and rotated slightly). scaled by golden ratio. 3) repeat this for remaining 2 parts of maple leaf. 4) do bottom spine along leaf. (triangle as well). 5) put stem on leaf. 6) build box It has given me a whole new appreciation for the canadian flag :-) (perhaps better cookie cutter dough could be used than what I used in the example. ) - they make great gifts when you visit relatives overseas!!!
