Tool for installing a Cane Creek 10 EC34 headset. May work for other similar EC34/28.6 EC34/30 Headsets. Use with 5/8" threaded rod, two nuts, and fender washers. 16 mm threaded rod should also fit (may be slightly tight requiring minor sanding for 16mm) There are 3 inserts - one for each top and bottom cup (they do have slightly different inside diameter and shoulder depth) and one for the frame headtube. Install first cup with the frame insert on the other end of the tube, then swap with the other insert and press in second cup. This tool does NOT push on the rim of the cups, rather focuses the pressure on the shoulder of the inner part of the cup that drives inside the headtube, which should minimize the opportunity for deforming the cups. The "lip" over the top of the cups is really just to prevent damage while inserting.
