~Here is a lens hood for the newest version of canons 18-55. This has been specifically designed to work with the new stm version of the lens and will not work with the older non-stm 18-55 3.5-5.6~ Surprisingly, i could not find a lens hood that would work with the new stm version of canon's 18-55 kit lens. The new version has a different bayonet mount with only two locks vs the old versions three. Because there was not one that was already made, i decided to cad up my own and share it so others can easily use this. Instructions You should not need to do anything special to print this. Just make sure that it is pointed upright and use 100% infill. Depending on the material you are using, you may want to scale up the model a bit to account for shrinkage. With colorfabb xt, i found that a 2% increase in scale helped the lenshood fit much better.
