Canon B4 lens tripod support

Canon B4 lens tripod support

cults3d

3D printed support for Canon B4 lenses that go roughly on the centre of gravity of the lens with a small DSLR attached. It's much less prone to wobble than when supported by the lens adapter (or worse, just the camera!). It uses M3 screw threads on the lens, originally placed for Canon remote focus and iris gears. Tested and work on J9ax5.2B4 IRS & J15ax8B4 IAS lenses, but may work for other Canon B3/B4/c-mount lenses with a similar 38mm between front and back screws where included (these are lenses with the later fluted style rubber focus grip. however it doesn't fit YJ 18X9). v5: low height tripod base with 1/4" UNC/BSW tripod screw thread. Requires 4 off M3 x 6mm-8mm screws front & rear. (or you can use longer screws with appropriate thickness washers; screws must not protrude into lens more than 4mm -or you will feel it locking the zoom and aperture rings). v2.2.6/7 are (riser) versions for adjustable height on 15mm bar supports, to accomodate up to standard 85mm lens-centre heights. The pillar is 26mm wide x 8mm thick, with a slot for M4 screw (or 25mm wide to suit some Chroziel supports). Lens fixings are M3x10mm. v3 is a cut down riser that only uses the aperture gear block screws (two rear screw holes, next to the doubler on lenses with the 2x doubler). NEW! v6 just uses 2 screws next to the focus ring (M3 & M4) and is a riser from 15mm bars to the lens centre, using Arri standard height (85mm). AND.. what to do with that floppy cable.. a clip to attach it to 15mm bars.. (requires M5 screw or Gopro style thumbscrew -thumbscrew knob print is included here)
