Canon EOS M-Series Lens Hood

thingiverse

Petal type wide angle Lens Hood for Canon EOS M series lenses. 20-30$ saved in comparison to canon's name brand hood, because at the end of the day their plastic is the same as my plastic. However, whats not the same is this hood is 3mm thick making it stronger and more durable than canon's 1.5mm thick hood. Why should you use a lens hood? Using a lens hood can take your photos to the next level. They stop lens flare, resulting in sharper images with better contrast that visually pop and look cleaner. Most professionals say "you should always have a hood on your camera for better images no matter where and what you're shooting, unless you want lens flare of course." In addition, the hood provides added protection against bumps and brushes by acting as a buffer zone. It is reverseable for compact storage, and also works with the orignal lens caps, and added filters.
