This was inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2765984 That worked OK, but I didn't like the press-fit. I designed a similar mount but with a split ring design that uses an M3x6 nut and bolt to tighten around the lens. This should also allow it to be used on lenses with a larger body. It can be mounted with the cold-shoe overhang either facing the body or the lens. When facing the body, it doesn't obscure any of the zoom indications on the lens body.
