Canon L1 & Vt Rangefinder Eyepiece Guard

This is a guard ring for the eyepiece of a Canon L1, L2, L3, or Vt Deluxe rangefinder film cameras. The eyepiece for these cameras is metal and can easily scratch glasses, this guard offers some protection for folks who need to depend on glasses and need to get close enough to see the whole finder field of view. Designed for the cameras mentioned above, it is unlikely to fit any other Canon rangefinder camera. The guard is designed to be made from a rigid plastic (e.g. PLA, PETG). It "snaps" into a small groove on the camera's viewing eyepiece. I recommend that the ring be printed in the orientation shown. No supports were necessary on my printer. It would be wise to print this at highest resolution (I used 1.2mm - 1.6mm) as the features are relatively fine. It is a very small part so it just takes minutes to print. If necessary you can slightly increase or decrease the scale of the part in your slicer to obtain a tighter or looser fit (try 1%). As designed, it fit my L1 quite snugly, but snapped on without excessive force.
