The Canon 35mm RF lens for the EOSR / EOSRP has a clip lip on the edge of the lens that allows for a stand-off filter holder to be designed. My motivation was to hold 50mm Astronomy filters in front of the lens for long exposure astrophotography. The RF 35mm needs ~20mm of travel to let it safely focus out to macro distance, so the filter stands off the camera by this safe amount and is retained inside with a 2mm thread retainer. Easy to print.
