This is a simple base for attaching a pair of Canon SX230 HS cameras in an upright side-by-side configuration for stereoscopic 3D photography/ video. The spacing allows sufficient room for a right-angled mini-USB connector to be attached to each camera, for remotely triggering shutter release (using [SDM](http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/sdm/download.htm) software). There is also room for mains power to be attached via the battery compartments using the appropriate [ACK DC-30 adapter kit](https://shop.usa.canon.com/shop/en/catalog/ac-adapter-kit-ack-dc30) or similar.
