Canon Zoemini S2 Tripod Case/Adapter

I was in need for a tripod-mountable instant camera; but, since there is none - for some reason none of the models have a thread - I've decided for the Canon Zoemini S2 (simple shape compared to an Instax and adds a wireless printer and storage card capabilities!) and designed some "interface" for a common tripod. The outcome is a "half-case" to simply put the camera in. USB port and charging indicator LED are still accessible/visible. I've decided to go with a larger diameter tripod thread (3/8'') and insert a metal thread adaptor (3/8'' outer thread to 1/4'' inner thread). This way, you can secure the adaptor with a drop of glue and have a metal thread which will last. There are plenty around eBay, Amazon, Aliexpress, .... for $ 2-3 per 5 pieces. Glue both parts together. I preferred the optical axis of the lens to align the thread with, but is a completely up to you (see images of my make). Pint to match your camera's colour if you are into styling ;-)
