Canopy for STRIX Stratosurfer

This is a full length canopy for the STRIX Stratosurfer airframe. It is designed to replace the vanilla foam canopy, to increase available internal volume and be a convenient mounting point for FPV equipment. I have included files for the canopy as I used it, as well a "clean" version to make it easier for you to add hardpoints for your own gear. The canopy is designed to hook onto the nose using the 52243/52244 front mount and nut plate designed by markqv. For convenience I have included those in the parasolid as part of the assembly, however you can also find them here: http://www.itsqv.com/QVM/index.php?title=Parts_Catalog_-_Strix_Stratosurfer You will need a pair of M3x10mm bolts and M3 hex nuts to install them. There is also a depression for a 12mm x 3mm disc magnet, the same dimensions as the ones included in the default foam canopy. You can remove and reuse those or get your own. Either way I recommend installing them with a single drop of superglue. Once in place, the hook attachment, rear tab, magnet, and relative wind once in flight all serve to firmly hold the canopy in, while also allowing quick removal by sliding the canopy forwards. This canopy was inspired by the full length canopy designed by MarkQV/ItsQV however I wanted one that would fit the vanilla Stratosurfer without extra modifications so I designed my own. I have uploaded the design as parasolid files to make it easier for you to modify and adapt the canopy for your own needs.
