Do you need a 9V battery clip for your project, and forgot to buy one? No worries, if you have an exhausted 9V battery you can make a clip yourself, simply by taking the battery apart, and re-purposing the contact at the top of the battery. Solder a wire to each of the connectors, and add this cap, and you have made a nice DIY battery clip. There are two versions, one for the typical clip from metal body batteries, and one for the typical plastic body battery. The clip from the metal body battery is the best, I think, but you take what you have. Instructions Just remember to thread the wires through the hole in the cap before assembly. Make a strain relief by securing the wires with a bit of glue.
