This is a cap that fits the makita battery adapter I remixed (and should therefore also fit the original. I put a 18v to 12v converter in the recess to power a low voltage flourescent tube, but you can use it to power pretty much anything with the right electrics. There is not a lot of room inside, but for this it wasn't required
