Cap Nut Container
myminifactory
I required a container for my M6 nuts and bolts. So I created this Cap Nut Container. It is quite big and has a thread close to M64. Unfortunately, a metric thread of this size is tough to print if you want to use a layer height of 0.3mm. I reworked the design to have an angle of 80° instead of the normal 60°. Now the nut and bolt will print smoothly at layer heights up to 0.3mm with a nozzle of 0.4mm. The threads have a play of 0.5mm. This allows it to scale the parts down to 50% without losing the functionality of the thread. I tested the design on three printers at different layer heights up to 0.3mm and after printing all models were fine. If you want to print the Cap Nut Container, you can choose between three bolt sizes (small, medium, and large).
