Replica of the knife that Viggo Mortensen used in Alatriste movie, a spanish film based on the novels by Arturo Perez-Reverte, "Captain Alatriste", depicting the life of a spanish soldier on the XVII century that becomes a swordsman-for-hire in Madrid after being injured in the 30 years war. In the books the blade is only described as a slaughterer knife, in the movie the director decided to use a bull fighter knife know as "puntilla" in spanish. The blade's shape, known as "Cow tongue", is specially designed to break the neck of the animals in the slaughterhouse.
