Capitoline Frieze

A marble frieze currently on display in the Capitoline Museum, Rome. Unfortunately this one is missing a display label so the subject and date are unknown. This is a low resolution SfM photogrammetric model, created in Agisoft Photoscan from 50 photos taken from a handheld compact digital camera (Panasonic Lumix TZ20). I wanted to see what the quality of the model generated would be like, compared to those taken from tripod mounted DSLRs, and whether it would capture sufficient detail of the deep relief carvings.
