Captain Future Moonbase

Back to one of my childhoods first heros, Captain Future. This is his base of operations, the moonbase hidden in the Tycho crater (fun fact: moonbase Alpha One from Space 1999 is also there *lol*). The model consists of several parts so one can decide how to display it from time to time 1. full base with hangar closed 2. base with empty hangar section so the lift with or without the comet can be installed 3. lift retracted (can also be used as stand alone) 4. list extracted (can also be used as stand alone) 5. the hangar-dome closed 6. the hangar-dome open ATTENTION: this is still sort of WIP. As some may still remember in the story about that gen-manipulation technology some roughe scientists did steel the comet to reach a distant planet. To catch up CF upgraded their left behind starship Lightning (will get it's own thingy) in this additional hangar. Since anime drawers don't really have to take care of mechanical possibility, it is up to me to create an open hangar that is still stable enough to carry itself. I'll add the "first draft"-version but be informed, that this is very likely to be very unstable. scale ~1:500 so my landed Comet https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1900370 fits to it supplemental entry 01: after a set of new screenshots I've found some things to change. Therefore back to WIP stay tuned supplemental entry 02: retracted and extracted lift replaced with more detailed versions. still working on the main building supplemental entry 03: old parts replaced with reworked components
