Captured Nut

Captured Nut

thingiverse

This is a 2 part print in place nut that is captured on the bolt between two fixed ends and is basically the same print as the impossible nut I posted but I added a top and bottom to the bolt to make it easier to hold. I included both the parts as one print and as two separate parts. If you want to print the nut a different color and need to know the offset placement of the nut, one measurement that works is .625in up the bolt. I needed to rotate my nut 180 degrees in my slicer as well to make sure the print worked so make sure to check your preview to ensure they wont print as one piece.
