Car ashtray phone holder

This is a custom phone mount designed to fit into the ashtray of a Lexus LS430, but can easily be modified to suit your needs. The base is designed to slide under the metallic flange in the ashtray for support. Some sort of filler will then be needed between the base and the front of the ashtray. A wedge is included in the .stl, but it will need to be modified to fit properly. Alternately, you can use a piece of cardboard, or cloth, or whatever you like to take up the extra space. The mount itself is in three pieces, the base, a pedestal arm, and the phone holder. The pedestal arm slides into the base, and the holder slides onto the top of the arm. The top part of the arm is angled backwards at 15 degrees. You may need to trim the arm slightly to fit. I preferred the fit to be very snug in order to avoid wobbling. The holder itself is designed for my iphone 6+ in its rather thick Speck case. Holes for the various ports are in the bottom. This was all printed at once without rafts or supports, and took a little over three hours. I used black ABS, with a 10% infill. I designed it entirely in Tinkercad.
