<p>This bracket was created for a car camera that used a ball mount rather than a swivel mount and was designed for the rearview mirror mounting shaft of a 2018 VW Jetta. The rearview mirror mounting shaft of the Jetta and likely other VW's has a unique bend making it difficult to mount anything to it. This bracket fits the VW Jetta and probably many other VW vehicles.</p><p>The unit was 3d printed using 3DX Tech Carbon X (PETG/CF) at 0.24mm layer height to resist Arizona summer heat and has been in use for several years. Typical PETG should work fine also but PLA may not depending on your environment. </p><p>I've included the STEP files for the bracket to make it easier for you to modify the bracket as needed to your application.</p>
