This slots into your CD player in your car and holds your phone. It's got apertures for headphones / USB / speaker and can be rotated to suit any viewing angle. The slot to hold the phone is tight to prevent wobbling durng transit. It's designed around the Samsung flip cover - so it won't work with gel cases or the like. The inner edges of the slot are filletted to prevent lifting of screen protectors and the recess in the base allows the phone to sit down without turning off! NOTE: Version 2 has an ammended rear audio port, a lsightly smaller 'CD' radius to fit in more CD players (some have slightly different appertures it seems) and two added mic ports to improve handsfree use in the car. It also has a chamfer on the internal face by the menu button location as this area caught my screen protector and pulled it up once, allowing dirt under it. Enjoy.
