WHAT? 3d printed car key. With this model can you make all the car keys for VW group cars (Volkswagen, seat,skoda) from i don’t know when…probably from 1995 until 2017? For all keys that look the same like picture in attachment. New cars have different model, but for all old cars is this OK. WHY? I locked my only car key twice in my Golf V. Then i had to brake in. Then i made a 3d printed model and i print it. It worked in the first try. HOW? Just measure all of 8 notches and download your key. Notches values should be from minimal 0,4mm to maximum of 3,8mm. Please check that there are just 8 notches. And Parameter fracture_notch_depth is just safety that you can make a key that will break on this fracture. HOW TO PRINT? I print it from ASA material, but probably also PLA would be OK. I used this parameters: Layer height: 0,1mm Raft layer: 3 layers (0,08=Raft contact Z distance) Support on a build plate only WARNING!? Be careful that you will not broke a key in the lock. With such a key you can enter a car, but you can not drive it. Because it has no code in.
