Well here goes ! Pretty happy with the final result considering it’s my first hand painted 3D object and probably my first full fledged non-polygonal style mesh. Pretty happy with the final topology too although I think some of the triangles could have been avoided. Unhappy with some shadowing/lighting, and the lack of using non-destructive painting techniques (this one’s on me, for getting into the challenge so late). In the end it’s pretty close to my initial concept, but lacks the cracked chocolate on top (and the icing was moved to its place instead), this was done because I did not use non destructive techniques and would have wrecked my front glass. Edit : Tried to fix the places where Sketchfab messed up my smooth/flat shading but I can’t seem to figure it out =/ Must be something with the model but I don’t know what !
