Minimalist dock design combining Apple Watch and iPhone 6 charger. The product is a simple answer to charging both iPhone and Watch at the same time. Whilst the watch is charging, the screen displays horizontally convenient when you are in bed. The iPhone slot is made of soft material (to be defined) to protect and facilitate when docking. Finally the dock has an extra surface for what is left from our pockets... coins, wallet, jewellery, notes... The Doppio dock keeps in mind Carus-concept design language and offers and aesthetic and practical answer to charging both iPhone and Watch. See Also the CARUS DOPPIO + (PLUS) Doppio was chosen for its close resemblance with the Carus design. Its kept simple and looks nice even without devices. The small pocket in front of the phone would be very hard to surface finish. But maybe a nice leather lining would do the trick. There is a few minor flaws like back support for the phone that would need to be worked out, but it would be a good starting point for a nice docking station. EDIT and response CARUS DOPPIO The back support is definitely a part of the project that need to be considered. nevertheless when you see the new Apple dock http://store.apple.com/us/product/MGRM2AM/A/iphone-lightning-dock , we see that back support is not needed at all time. The insert for the phone could be deep enough to hold the phone. and the weight of the base could do the trick. From the general comments regarding compatibility with phone covers or phones thicker than iPhone 6 ( older model) it is your call, as we are not really informed about your clientele. I would assume people using your brand are people of hight net worth, whom would not use a cover. In order to keep the station as pure as possible, it would be great to reduce the amount different visible parts. We could also consider something similar to the Apple iPod dock http://i.ytimg.com/vi/MUUprVlT4co/hqdefault.jpg The leather lining on the front is a great idea. it would give a very premium and "Artisan feel" which would warmup the coldness of metal.
