Case for Hommie Ipad Pencil

<p>I was tired of loosing it all over the backpack, so I desgined this magnetically secured case.</p><p>It fits perfectly the Hommie i706 stylus for Ipad even with its rubber plug for the USB-C.</p><p>Since the original design was made to acommodate 5 mm neodymium cubes, for the middle part of the assembly, there are two version available, with and without rectangular holes.</p><p>The ones with the holes are indeed for the 5 mm neodymium cube magnets and the ones in blank are to be modified by the final user to fit any size magnet.</p><p>All the parts are designed with 0.1 mm of space betwen them, and I if you are going to make your own hole, I recommed that you left at least the same space cause it's pretty tight as it is. The distance betwen the surface and the magnet will depend in how strong this is, in my case I put 1 mm.</p><p><strong>Print Settings</strong></p><p>Printed in PLA, without supports or rafts, at 0.2mm resolution and 15% infill.</p><p>All the parts can be printed as they are.</p><p>In the case of the parts with the holes for the magnets, you may want to add auttomatic or manual supports, altought if the holes are narrow enough maybe it's not necessary.</p><p><strong>Assembly</strong></p><p>The assembly process is fairly simple and a little glue should be enough.</p><p>Just put the magnets in place before gluing the outside of the case.</p><p>You should also check the orientation of the magnets relative to each other before gluing them in place, to make sure that the box will stay closed and that the magnets do not repel each other.</p><p>To better illustrate, here is a GIF of the assembly process:</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/181258/rich_content/8587f67c-8f33-43dd-bbb1-4a9222f82b91/ensamblaje-funda-lapiz-ipad-para-video-a_1.gif#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%227341bfd5-70e5-45a1-b1ee-c2500894d2d6%22%2C%22w%22%3A518%2C%22h%22%3A518%7D"></figure>
