Case for step down (buck) converter with pin-header connection. This case is suitable for tiny converter modules labeled as „Mini-360“ (12x18mm). The bigger ones don't fit. The modules are getting quite hot, so I added nice hex shaped holes for ventilation. The adjustment of the voltage can also be done through these holes. I'm using these module on my printer to step down the voltage for the LED-Strips. I'm driving them at 9.5V. Otherwise they were much to bright and will also overheat. The LEDs on such strips are usually pushed to they're limit so they won't last long without proper cooling even at 12v. In my case I cranked up the voltage of my power supply to 13v to achieve faster heating for my build plate.
