Case for the Full Graphic Smart LCD Controller with SDcard access and separate button

This version is derived from wersy's case (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:87250) with the addition of an sdcard access recess but unlike Srek's case (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:195369) I choose to keep the origional separate button so I could print it in a different colour. This is for the http://www.reprapdiscount.com/home/34-full-graphic-smart-lcd-controller.html and its clones I fixed the issues with the button height in the graphics displays adapters currently available from aliexpress where the switch is a little too thick for the origional design. this is a parameter at the start of the.scad file that can be adjusted for your particular board. The photos show a version printed in ABS and because I'm still tuning my setup for ABS its quiality is not as nice as the origional case I printed in PLA but I expect once I get abs tuned it will look better Instructions The files:- mods_for_display_case_front.stl mods_for_display_case_back.stl mods_for_display_case_button.stl are used to print the case suitable for the smart graphics displays from Aliexpress. To change this you must regenerate from the mods_for_display_case.scad. To use the .scad file you must unzip Case_for_the_Full_Graphic_Smart_LCD_Controller.zip, the origional display case files into the same directory as mods_for_display_case.scad. You can then edit the switch height parameter at the start to adjust the height of the button and the button surround. You must then export the 3 stl files by uncomenting one part of the case at a time and f6 then export->stl. I print the button narrow side dowm so that the user visible face gets nice and smooth from my glass bed. Doing it this way requires that the printer handles overhangs well. if seems to work well enough with my prusa i3 deravitive but might not for all printers If its a little daggy arround the flange then a quick trim with a knife is all thats necessary as that part isn't visible to the user anyway.
