Case for Waveshare e-Paper ESP8266 Driver Board

## The design This is a case for Waveshare's universal e-paper driver board. https://www.waveshare.com/product/modules/oleds-lcds/e-paper/e-paper-esp8266-driver-board.htm I have a smaller e-Paper display inside a photo frame that uses this board to drive it, so I wanted a small case to contain the board with screw holes so I could attach it to the back of the frame. The case has a slot for the ribbon cable, and a hole for USB power. ### Options Because I don't have anything else connected to the driver board (other than the e-Paper display) I made the base of the case thick enough that the pins don't stick out the bottom. If you need access to the pins in your project, I made another version with a thinner base (for the pins), but where the lid has the screw holes, rather than the base. I have included STL files for both versions. You can either print the box and lid together, or print them separately. You don't need supports. ### Customising Hopefully the source code is reasonably self explanatory if you need to remix this to suit your requirements. If you made it, please let me know. Did the tabs for the lid work OK for you? Does your board get hot? Do you think the design needs ventilation holes? ### My project I use this with a 4.2" e-Paper display. Without any embedded driver these displays are quite thin, so it easily fits inside a photo frame. My project displays time and weather information. It syncs to NTP for the current time and date, and connects to my MQTT bus to see updates from my weather sensors, as well as the current conditions.
