My design will not fit on a standard heat bed, so I made in parts to assemble (Approx. sizes 420cm x 100cm total incl. tail, without tail 270cm) . 2. The cheap 1.5v battery pendulum mechanisms fit this clock ( My design has a 1.2mm depth print x 8mm hole to fit) . Just print a spindle spacer should yours be a longer spindle. 3. PARTS REQUIRED : a) Filament of your choosing and type. (I used PLA). b) Hot Glue gun for internal assembly. (Super glue causes plastic to discolour so not recommended). c) Super glue to fit the bow tie to the mechanism once fitted in. d) File, pliers, scraper, 6mm drill bit to clean parts. e) Lots of patience and many hours printing parts Lol. f) Cheap 3-4 dollar pendulum clock mechanism. g) Supports will be required for some of the parts. I printed mine with a 2X Anycubic I3 megas and a Wanhau I3 to save time. Twist the bow tie to move the eyes left/right. Heavy duty clock mechanisms are very expensive so I suggest the cheap version on what I based the model on. The model will stand alone without the tail fitted. I look forward to anyone's photos of prints or modded designs. Enjoy ! 09/01/23 'Stiffner' ... As the bowtie can jam when pushed/twisted I glued this across/inside the back of the head behind the mechanism to enable the bowtie to sit proud. 09/01/23 Here is the link to the pendulum battery powered part I used, others are the same size so hope this link still works....https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001971270870.html 12/01/23 Added a couple of explanatory pictures on how parts fit inside. 12/01/23 Upgraded head backing plate. 13/01/23 Shortened body top by 2mm for a better fit. 20/02/23 Enlarged wall hanging hole. 20/02/23 Made stiffener plate to fit behind eye mechanism inside head to stop bow tie sinking in. 02/03/2023 Integrated Battery Block into design.
