After smashing my lone Session 5 I decided to give the RunCam 5 Orange a try and so far I like it. I felt it was slightly smaller than the Session so the mounts, although they work, weren't as tight as I liked. Included is support to slide in TBS Jello Guard ND filters. The mount does not show in frame of the final video footage, nor do props. The STL is updated to eliminate the oblong shutter button hole and just have a rectangular slot, offering slightly increased protection for the top of the camera, I haven't had time to print that updated version yet. Simply slide in spare 20mm standoffs or slip in the ones that come with the kit. I printed with a very low percentage gyroid fill and 2 walls to give a very squishy cover with the aim of offering the most protection from bumps. I also did mesh overlaps in Cura to print the lower plane of the camera mount and the portion that mates to the quad standoffs at 100% for best stability. I've bashed this into a couple trees and a soccer goal practicing power loops a few dozen times with no damage whatsoever. Even a few asphalt impacts only left minor scuffing. Print on the side with supports.
