Additional seafarers tiles designed to work with JAWong's amazing Catan tiles http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:26979 These include small magnets in the bases so that port 'sails' can be attached and randomised for each game. Designed around 3mm spherical magnets to match these magnetic baseshttp://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1108968 2/03/2016 - Added double port tiles and step files Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Mendel90 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 30% Notes: The lower the layer height the more resolution you'll get out of the waves. They can always be post processed though Post-Printing I painted the waves with ABS dissolved in acetone, this smoothed them out quite well. If you're using PLA painting PVA wood glue on them should achieve a similar result. The base tiles are designed to have 3mm spherical neodymium magnets inside them. Insert the magnets then acetone/glue the tops on them. There is also a space under the ships for a magnet. Insert this then keep it in place with the magnet covers. if you're not using the bases just glue the magnets in. I sourced them here http://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-216-Pcs-3mm-Sphere-Ball-Neodymium-Rare-Earth-Super-Magnets-N35-Free-Shipping/32269492974.html Print the sails on paper (I used curtain blackout material taped to a piece of paper). Either double side these or print 2 and glue them back to back. The masts are 25mm x 1.25mm panel pins, or 1" x 16 Gauge make sure they're steel or they won't work with the magnets.
